It appears that the team is wearing down without sixth scorer, Savannah Rennie. Cal has lost three one-sided losses in a row without her. Cal swept Oregon in Eugene with SR. Tonight they were handled 3-1 in Berkeley.

Former Valley Christian-San Jose star Ronika Stone (6-3) led the way for the Ducks with 17 kills.

I hope that I'm incorrect in my analysis.

Im not sure it is the absence of Rennie. Forte and Anderson still hit high percentages. Huizenga and Haynes have been hot and cold all year. . The choices on hard v soft swings is a factor. And the setting still is an issue - choice and placement.

You're right. If you attend the games we still struggle with receiving and setup. We have too many tap overs because of bad returns or setups. Sometimes I think we are our worse enemy.

After today, it's Furd at 10-2
and then at 8-4 is (deep breath), Cal, UCLosAngeles, UW, WSU, and Utah.

and side note - Colorado riding the momentum of its loss to Cal won both games this weekend against Cal's next opponents, the Arizonas.
