I would not want to be the logistics planner for 26 Cal athletic teams for the spring of 2021...GO BEARS!

To be honest with you, I wouldn't either. But at the same time, playing fall sports in the spring allows them to be saved so that the players' seasons don't go to waste. Especially the seniors who want to end their time as Golden Bears on a good note

I saw some health guidance doc from some authority (it may have been Santa Clara County)

It listed sports in 3 risk categories

The "contact" sports were in the highest risk category (FB, BB)

Sports like golf, tennis, cross country were in the lowest risk category

Hopefully there won't be an all or nothing decision so at least some of the low risk sports can have a season
