Was coaching at her HS In Pennsylvania due to Cal campus closure. Went missing after Oct 27 game and body found today. Very sad.

Catastrophic, OMG!

Are only "in season" athletes on campus, now? It must be like a ghost town.

No. I have heard swimmers are training. Also heard water polo players are on campus, but only doing dry land stuff.

From what I know, football and basketball are on campus too and are practicing. Some volleyball players are on campus, like our superstar Mirkovic, but the team is still holed up. If they don't start training soon, they may have to opt out of the season.

Sad indeed. Based on the fact that she was in a car driving behind the team bus, something must have happened on the way back from the game; idk if it was a car wreak or something else. I hope to god she wasn't shot by a passerby, but I don't know the full story. May she rest in peace

I don't pretend to know but since she was driving behind the team bus on the way back from a game, something out of the ordinary could've happened to her. From what I know, there is no exact cause of death

Quite the imagination there. Why not a ninja star being thrown from a fat kid from an overpass on I-80?

If that is really true, it is a sign that we need to take student-athlete mental health much more seriously. Which includes being accepting of those who decide to not play in a game because of mental health issues and being inclusive and accepting of all athletes on the team. Teams should also encourage athletes to seek immediate help if they have mental health issues that are affecting their ability to perform at a high level
