He's the president's son so he can't hide forever. Bring him back slowly, start with Kimmel, move on to other shows to promote the book, and you'll start seeing more of him in the White House and maybe a position somewhere in government by the end of this year.

I don't think it hurts Biden politically either, but I think it hurts him personally. Joe Biden is an elder statesman from the old school. To have your son parading around the country peddling a book which is being promoted largely on sleaze and illicit behavior just has to be a major embarrassment to any family, and nothing less than a middle finger to your father, who also happens to be President of the United States. Hunter is throwing the family name under the bus for his own gain.
