Mostly I am just sharing news about the administration in a thread dedicated to that. If you want to know my opinion, I think this looks like the start of a regime-change war . . . ironically, by the guy who was touted up and down as the "anti-war candidate" during his campaign.

To be clear, I'm not fully in support of this. I can see both sides and would prefer we stay out of ongoing global conflicts. That being said, it would be stupid to think the US could entirely shut off from the world and not have to get involved from time to time. Do I agree with it, no. Is it reality, yes.

Trump recognizing opposition leader Juan Guaid as interim president in 2019 wasn't a clue to you?

How the heck does an enlisted person figure that out? If someone is on a base you probably get yourself over to the legal office, but I can imagine that wouldn't be super easy move to make. And if a service member is deployed it could be even harder because there likely isn't a legal attache around.
