It's no secret that late night hosts and comedians worldwide are benefiting from all the comic materials provided by The Grump rule of our country. After only two years the number of books and articles and media postings about The Emperor's new clothes increase daily.

When it's all over, and many of may be dead by then, hopefully someone will write a definitive political satire of The Grump Presidency. Since The Family of Grump is lawsuit happy, the names will have to be changed to something still immediately identifiable; in the manner that in Alice in Wonderland, Dodgson may have created the Queen of Hearts as a fictional Queen Elizabeth I. Delving into the satirical deck of cards, I offer The Grump
as the
Ass of Spades.
