Good idea, though. Trump has not made the kind of speech that people want and need to hear and Joe Biden will either not be around in 2024, or will be very, very old. Good idea, but poorly executed. It was better than a poke in the eye with a stick.

Yes a Governor is making a big run for the Presidency right now, and he's a Democrat and his press conferences have forced The Grump to a later time spot to give America a chance to forget that an alternative exists. If Biden were to drop out, for whatever reason, Cuomo would win the nomination by acclamation right now. People will remember in 2024 as well. CNN is giving him a lot of air time, and not just appearances on his younger sibling's show. His early afternoon (morning Pacific time) daily press conferences are showing the leadership a politiician who pays attention, and listens, and relies on facts not fantasy, can provide. The contrast between Cuomo and The Grump is striking, night and day, competent and a tantrum. The Grump appears confused by Cuomo's blunt, factual delivery of the day's developments in the pandemic in NY.
