You can fly out of Oakland. Much less hassle

Why? If he just wanted to win, he'd just stay at Clemson. Maybe he wants to do the Jaylen Brown/DRob thing. In that case Cal is the clear choice.

or he just wants to go home in which case Hawaii is the clear choice. who knows. we are gonna have to wait and see who he gets involved with to figure it out. everyone wants/could use him. He must be a decent student to finish school with elegibility left. does cal have a grad program he can get into that fits his profile/needs? we certainly have a scholarship available.

perhaps he is interested in academics. what does he study and do we have a top graduate program in that field?

He couldn't study sociology at Cal because Clemson has their own program. Grad transfers are only allowed if you want to be in a graduate program not available at your current school.

So is the transfer move dead in the water then?

well it's what makes the grad transfer a bit more complicated

he needs to go to a major that isn't available at Clemson (there are plenty of those) that he can get into (which there may NOT be plenty of)

yep! He would have started at Cal as a true freshman..

Masters in Public Health (MPH). That is the program Davis Webb, Nick Kerr, Grant Mullins, and Tarwater enrolled in. I don't believe that Clemson offers an MPH degree. Pagano would need good grades and GRE score to get in. Don't know what kind of student he is.

We offered, right? So don't you think the coaches have a plan?

Kid's high school coach (Coach AK Martinez), a Cal alum, was a grad assistant at Cal during the Holmoe era.

Clemson has an Applied Health masters but I don't know if there's enough of a differential to allow a transfer to Cal in Public Health.
