Cal Adds UC Davis And Cal Poly To Future Schedules

BERKELEY – Cal has added non-conference football home games against UC Davis and Cal Poly to complete its 2019 and 2020 non-conference schedules the school announced Wednesday. 
The Golden Bears will host UC Davis in a season-opener at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium on Aug. 31, 2019, while Cal Poly will visit Berkeley on Sept. 12, 2020.

Cal has a 9-0 all-time record against UC Davis with each of the nine contests being held in Berkeley including the last meeting in 2010 when the Bears were a 52-3 winner. The Aggies’ head coach is former Cal running backs coach Ron Gould.

The Bears have never faced Cal Poly.

Cal’s non-conference schedules have now been completed through the 2020 campaign with other non-conference teams on the slate in upcoming seasons including Auburn, BYU, Grambling State, Idaho State, Mississippi, North Carolina, San Diego State, San Jose State, South Dakota, TCU, Texas and Weber State.
