BERKELEY - The California men's basketball team will host "Halloween at Haas" on Wednesday Oct. 31, with an open intra-squad scrimmage from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. inside Haas Pavilion.

The free event will showcase the 2012-13 squad with an intra-squad scrimmage and the team will sign autographs and take photos with fans at the conclusion of the event.

Fans are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes with prizes being awarded to the best costumes at the event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in various arts and crafts activities to assist with their Halloween decorations inside the Haas Club room before and after the exhibition. Trick-or-treating inside Haas Pavilion is not only accepted, it is encouraged throughout Wednesday's event.

Members of the Sales and Service Team will be on hand to answer questions about season tickets and show fans around. Anyone who is interested in talking with a representative can email goldstandard@berkeley.edu in advance, however no registration is necessary.

Cal returns three starters, including its leading scorer and rebounder in junior All-Pac-12 standout Allen Crabbe, from last year as the Golden Bears begin their fifth season under head coach Mike Montgomery.

Cal will host San Francisco State in an exhibition contest on Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and open the regular season against CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. inside Haas Pavilion.
