Preparing for Tuesday's upcoming season-opening exhibition against San Francisco State, the Cal men's basketball team held an open abbreviated exhibition on Wednesday afternoon before a few hundred fans anxious to see the 2012-13 version of the Bears.

Making their first appearances in blue and gold were frosh combo guard Tyrone Wallace and forward Kahlil Johnson and the scrimmage also featured the return of center Richard Solomon after being ineligible in 2011-12.

Wallace displayed good handles and a consistent outside shot playing both the 1 and 2 and Johnson showed a suprisingly-consistent stroke from outside.

Solomon looks to have added strength and confidence in his game -important elements to bolster the Bears' somewhat thin front line.
