Granite Bay OT Will Craig
The Bears scored a big commitment Thursday from one of their top recruiting targets in 6-5/275 Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA) High School offensive tackle Will Craig.

The consensus 4 star offensive tackle received one of the earliest offers in his class last year and has remained high on the Bears target list until his commitment this week.

Named the OL MVP at the Nike Regional Opening, Craig also stood out at The Opening, competing with some of the top prep players in the country in June.

Craig announced his decision today via Twitter, saying:

"First off, I'd like to thank my parents and family for setting me up to be successful in life and supporting me throughout the process.

"I'd also like to thank my coaches throughout the years: Cooper, Evans, Beidler, Pope, Tonda, Tattersal, Wenstrom, Powers, Sartz, Fowler, Jennings and many more. Without them, I'd be half the player and man that I am today.

"Lastly, I'd like to thank all my friends, especially those on the line with me, for being there for me and having my back.

"That said being said, I'm proud to announce that I will be committing to The University of California, Berkeley.

"Go Bears!"

Stay tuned for more on Craig's commitment.
