Hawkins and Mekari Brothers Set to Captain Squad For USC

Sophomore safety Jaylinn Hawkins, junior offensive tackle Patrick Mekari and senior nose tackle Tony Mekari will lead the Bears as captains in Saturday's Joe Roth Memorial Game vs. USC.

Hawkins came off of missing parts of the North Carolina opener and all of week two's Weber State game to pace the Bears with a key interception and 22-yard return along with 8 tackles in Cal's 27-16 victory over Ole Miss last weekend.
