Scholarship Allocations and Recruiting Targets for 2019 Class

After a small class in 2017 of just 14 signees, the Bears signed 21 for the 2018 class after adding Onate (Las Cruces, New Mexico) High School receiver Monroe Young, Alief Taylor (Houston, Texas) linebacker Joey Ogunbanjo and Madison (San Diego, CA) linebacker Chris Fatilua to the 18 early signees from December. The allocation of 21 scholarships still leaves a few spots available for grad transfers, late signees or one-year scholarship awards to deserving walk-ons.
