Not like we're doing much better on that survey. Stanaford was #51 with a 4.0. We're #48 with a 4.1

Cal is barely above. 3.4 for NIL and 3.9 for academic support.

"NIL support" = size of the paycheck. Welcome to the real world, kids. None of us (including Elon, apparently) feels they are being paid what they're worth, yet life goes on. It's a free market and you are the ones who accepted Cal's offer. If Cal could/would pay more, they'd probably be paying it to somebody better than you.

I look at these and I just am reminded how VARIED american higher education is. the 3.9 for academic support, for example, probably needs a qualifier that Cal for EVERY student is hard. Student athletes are getting a ton of support and without really diving into what is going on I would take that with a huge grain of salt.

NIL numbers are what they are. We know that generally speaking Cal is underinvesting in this compared to its peers and, right now, pushing as many chips as possible in at the football table.

Honestly, there isn't a very wide range between the top and the bottom of the rankings and there are a lot of schools with no ranking.

That tells me that there is a very small sample size going on with this survey.

don't really care what any cal athlete thinks besides the football players (and men's bball if we are winning).

the rest of them are lucky things like title ix have them at the school
