> The new regulations extended legal protections to L.G.B.T.Q. students and rolled back several policies set under the Trump administration.

> The new rules, which take effect on Aug. 1, effectively broadened the scope of Title IX, the 1972 law prohibiting sex discrimination in educational programs that receive federal funding. They extend the law's reach to prohibit discrimination and harassment based on sexual orientation and gender identity, and widen the range of sexual harassment complaints that schools will be responsible for investigating.

> The rules deliver on a key campaign promise for Mr. Biden, who declared he would put a "quick end" to the Trump-era Title IX rules and faced mounting pressure from Democrats and civil rights leaders to do so..

Eliminate all current women's sports teams at Cal.
Encourage all men to self-identify as women.
Save money.
Meet Title IX requirements.

First thing I noticed is the compelled speech portion will get struck down by the supreme court. No way that is enforceable with the 1st amendment in the way. The other portions to it will definitely be challenged immediately and then the supreme court is going to have to come to terms if Title IX is even enforceable with these new genders they've created.

This could be like the case that led to NIL and changed college sports for the worse imho, but definitely changed it forever.

edit: also wanted to add removes due process for those accused of sexual assault or harassment, depriving the accused of their 5th Amendment rights

Liberals secretly agree this is all too silly but they won't publicly speak out about it because they're all terrified of the alphabet clan.
