Looks like I might need to take our off-road vehicle for tomorrow's game... It currently has a ham radio antenna on it making overall height just below 10 feet (can just barely clear our basketball hoop). Thanks much.

They only have 6'10" clearance:

Guys, didn't want to start another thread on this not so football related topic, but for the hams out there, if you have ever brought an HT into CMS, what repeaters have you been able to hit? Anything linked? Would be cool to reach our home in Morgan Hill...

For the Sac State game I brought in one of my Kenwood TH-F6As, but I had not programmed into it any local repeaters for testing. Not surprisingly I was not able to reach any repeaters in the South Bay or any across the Bay...

A repeater on Grizzly peak looks like it might be an easy hit from CMS. I'll program in a few frequencies before Saturday to try... Cool to have the option to add local AM, FM and TV stations! I'll be sure to add KGO 810 for the post-game...
