He didn't have a great week last week, but he's been doing work at Oxford. He'd be motivated against SC. He has Tedford ties.

Dykes was as non-Cal as a coach could possibly be.rothforever said:

Kiffin already makes 50% more $ (in a location where cost of living is comparatively tiny) while coaching on a larger stage. So even if we wanted him (I don't), we aren't going to get him.
Maybe more than 50% more money:kal kommie said:

Also: 50,000-plus home attendance, more money from boosters, larger football budget, super-easy to get any player you want admitted and kept eligible, your football team is the biggest thing in town and for at least 50 miles in every direction... all of that is a lot more of what a CFB head coach is looking for.Quote:
Kiffin, who is under contract through 2024, is set to make $4.5 million in 2021 with a retention bonus of $500,000 if he is still Ole Miss' coach on Dec. 31. He will then make $5.25 million in 2022, $5.5 million in 2023 and $5.75 million in 2024.
Now this is an idea that would be a dream scenario. A kick-ass guy from the SEC with an edge.SBGold said:
