Every year, at a certain point, the Mid-American conference plays a good chuck, if not all of their games, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Nobody cares, but it still makes me curious as to why. Here are some potential tongue and cheek reasons which you can add to:
For the record, I'd still like to know the real reason, but feel free to have fun with this.
- The players want to stay home on Saturdays so they can see how football should be played.
- If they don't play football on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, they'd have to attend class.
- They never learned the days of the week and so are confused about when to play their games.
- They play their games right after the rankings come out because it gives them an excuse as to why they aren't ranked.
