I'm a huge fan of I-football. That's what we use to run when I was coaching HS ball. I think watching Manderino crush linebackers was my favorite time in Cal football. It's so versatile, plus you can get very creative, we would run tons of counters, tosses, then TE screens, also could do some option, like veer. The two key plays in it though was always the ISO (just lead your fb up to the mike backer and power it straight ahead, plus power like Saban said really effective off the corner. Also the fact nobody is running I football, Cal could have a really good pick of the litter in recruiting.
