This is accurate as I understand it save that the ACC won't call a meeting to discuss, but only to vote and they won't vote if they don't already know the outcome.

So barring something extraordinary occurring, we should hear tomorrow AM that Cal and Stanford will be members of the ACC in 2024

Whether the details of the revenue share will be shared (in a fulsome way) is unknown to me. However what has been shared about B10&B12 rev sharing and the reporting that's been done around the historical P12 proposals have all been incomplete/misleading.

Thanks for the update. Will run out to get some champagne to either celebrate or drown my sorrows.

Good of you to get out front of the misinformation trend about the details. None of that matters in my view.

I wonder if the vote will be finalized in time for it to become a headline on ESPN GameDay? College football fans are amped and ready particularly this weekend, and I would think the ACC would like to steal the thunder and amp the day as much as possible.

Thank you. Thank you!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
This is a good sign.
I tell my clients when negotiating an agreement "it ain't over 'til it's over and all documents are signed, sealed and delivered and consideration has passed between the parties"
I hope I am not celebrating too soon. But it would be nice to have a football home for the bears in 2024 to
Prove to recruits that Cal Football has a future BEFORE the start of the 2023 season

As Cal fans, we know not to get ahead of ourselves. But thanks BG for spreading some cautious optimism amongst us interested individuals.

A. This would certainly count as extraordinary
B. This argument was known on day 1. Why have all the meetings and negotiations if this was the stance?

To be clear this is the UNC-CH (chapel hill) only. And the president of UNC votes. Also not the board governing NC state

The argument also doesn't totally make sense . . . though it would not bring UNC in line with SEC revenue, it would still get them more money than they had before. And there is no current opportunity to get to SEC levels anyway. Why turn down extra money in the meantime?

That they release this statement tonight implies that there is a vote scheduled for tomorrow and if there is a vote scheduled, it implies that they have the votes to pass. This comes off as a last ditch hail mary attempt to undermine the vote. It could work. Tomorrow morning is far away.

Only two hours on the east coast, which happens to be far away.

It is a little ridiculous to include all sports in this. Should just be hoops and football. Not sure why they have to do the whole shebang.

Or, given the connection between UNC and NCSU, it might be a signal that they want NCSU to also vote no.

That's my thought. This seems like the kind of statement you put out when you think you're about to be overruled.

Once again, where are the posters who knew the votes were not there a couple of days ago? How come they don't know that now??? It was that woman from ESPN. How come she doesn't know now?

Andrea Adelson? She has been saying all week that she hasn't heard of any of the opposing four changing their vote.

"…no definitive indication" that NC State has flipped to yes.
Very troubling.
