Did anyone happen to catch the announced attendance figure? I didn't see it reported anywhere but it seemingly was much better than the prior week but not as good as for Auburn game which supposedly was about 44,000. While most of us complain about the late starting times (myself included), it does appear that we draw larger crowds at night. However, this past Saturday night was exceptional for the warm weather the Bay Area enjoyed. I suspect unless November weather is unseasonably warm, attendance will shrink for Washington State, though USC (if they're still undefeated at that time) will likely draw many of their local supporters.

I had estimated the crowd at 35,000 late on Saturday night. Turns out the actual number was reported at 34,930.

For a team ranked 15th in the country, their fans sure didn't show up here on Saturday night.

In contrast, there was a very large crowd of WSU fans at the Rose Bowl earlier on Saturday.

I wonder if we will know the viewership number. Oregon St vs. San Jose St had like 3 million viewers. Does Cal help top that or bring it down?

Pac 12 Network doesn't pay for Nielsen tv ratings, so there will be none.

OSU vs SJSU was on CBS on a Sunday with no other football competing.

For all posters who regularly gripe about the students and yong alums. The East side of CMS including rooting section were crowded. The older alumni areas and rich fans seats were very sparsely occupied

I guess the old rich folks couldn't bother to show up in those sections

The middle of the west side of the stadium under the press boxes is an absolute joke. I assume those are season ticket holders but it's quite embarrassingly sparse every game

7:00pm games in Berkeley are not easy to attend for those who must travel. Rocket science? No.

Those empty ESP seats are largely not sold. They are available for any game for $375.00 and up on the Cal ticket site. At that price, they don't get many takers, especially with a crappy Cal team.
