There's already a thread about Brett announcing today that he's medically retiring but Brian Driscoll also decided to step away from the game for health reasons today. Both these guys were cornerstones not just on the field but heart and soul players on this team.

Brett fought back time and time again to be on the field on Saturdays and we'll always remember and respect that. Brian was another guy who gave us everything he had, moved positions when Cindric went down, and was a stalwart on the OL over the past several seasons.

Thank you both for everything you've given this program, and best of luck in everything you do next. You'll both be missed but you have to do what's best for yourselves by prioritizing your future health. Once a Bear, always a Bear!

BJ was an NFL talent before the accident. Talk about bad luck, however he stuck to his guns and warriored for the Bears! Gotta love that! Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

Amen to the above! Congrats and thanks for what you have given to Cal Football. Wishing you both the best of success. Go Bears!
