Who else misses when Cal used to serve Coca-Cola products instead of Pepsi-Cola products? Coke is way better than Pepsi

I wasvthere a few days ago and they had coke In and Out, i guess if they have pepsi.. i once asked Chancellor Christ about switching back to Come and she said " i have more important things to do.
Always a subjective thing as I prefer Pepsi over Coke but will drink Coke if that's the only thing available, but what's really disturbing is that Dr. Pepper has apparently just overtaken Pepsi as the second favorite soft drink. Dr. Pepper! Come on. It represents the worst of Texas, and that's saying a lot. There's no accounting for taste.RaidersBear24 said:

That explains why Pepsi tastes better. Now, wherever Pepsi is served, I have them give me half diet and half regular in the glass or cup. Or, I do it myself at the self-serve machines.Cal88 said:

I always figured SMU would have the biggest affiliation with Coke in the conference.

IMO, it's about portion control. The "regular" at a fast food place is oversized. Anything bigger than that is insane.
Hey, could we get to the truth on this Coke/Pepsi thing? If you're drinking it out of the can, it's Pepsi (and it had better be cold). Coke isn't good out of the can. A deli sandwich and an ice cold Pepsi in a 12 oz can is great. However, if you're drinking it from a glass, with ice -- and that's the best way to do it -- it's Coke all the way (best with burger and fries).
I thought everybody knew this.

I like Pepsi, get the red out
I'm a strictly diet soda drinker. Oddly, I prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke but I prefer Coke Zero to Pepsi Zero. Coke Zero is my go to canned drink.Big C said:ducktilldeath said:

As for ice in your drink, I'm in the completely opposite camp. I ask for no ice whenever possible. Why? Because it is already cold coming out of the machine (at least around here). The melting ice just dilutes it and when you're done, there's usually about 25% of the cup still filled with ice. That means you're not getting as much to drink. Anyway, that's my take on the subject.
