I have always enjoyed visiting out of state schools and especially across the US (Southern Miss, Tenn, Maryland, missed Ohio State I was sick) over the years. Which ACC game are you thinking about? I am hoping to make at least one. Without traditional rivalries, the tailgates can actually be mutual and fun! And of course visiting new cities and stadiums. Any plans or ideas??

Pitt and probably Wake. Really no desire to go deep south. Been there

Last year, I completed my goal of going to all of the Pac 12 stadiums. I do not have that desire for the ACC. Maybe next year I will plan a visit out of state, but my only other game this year will probably be our bowl game. I might go to a couple of basketball games depending on the schedule.

Wake Forest

They're a home game for this year but you should hit up NC State when we visit. The campus is meh but the area is cool in North Carolina and close to a lot of other destinations. They're one of the only schools left that allow tailgating at halftime and return entry which is always a fun gameday experience. Clemson used to have it too but I think they nixed it during Covid and never brought it back (but that might've just been because that's when beer sales in the stadium were allowed and they wanted to keep the money).

Of this year's I would rank them Wake, Pitt, FSU, SMU. Pitt seems like it would be cool, has a similar program historically to Cal's and I've never really seen the city. FSU would rank higher because of its traditional football atmosphere but Tallahassee and its fans leave a lot to be desired.

In the future I wouldn't mind making trips to Miami, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and BC though
