1. What is this "tier" business? Never heard that term before, in this context... fair question though, as I understand it.
2. Bloesch is both Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach. Again, fair question: how are other staffs structured?
3. I think we all know that Wilcox is coaching on borrowed time and needs to have a winning record, going forward. The past is not really relevant, except to say that he is long past any sort of "honeymoon period".
I agree the issue should be the future, except that the past affects people's perception of him and the program and that affects recruiting, attendance, etc,
I also think "wining record" when we play an FCS team and two G5 teams every year is too low of a bar. He can be sub ..500 against fellow P4 opponents (the definition of mediocrity) and finish 7-5 every year. He would have to have a winning record and we would need a rational reason to expect upward trajectory from that. Landing Sagapolutele would go a long way to my believing that is possible, but having a good OC is necessary for both. So far, Bloesch is not, but if he suddenly turns it on the rest of the way, then he is.
