This one is a huge loss. Coach AT, who has done a terrific job recruiting and coaching up RBs, has left to become the RB coach at Northwestern. I've seen it speculated that a big piece of his reasoning may be his son's severe epilepsy and Northwestern's top-tier epilepsy center. Regardless, he was key in landing and keeping Ott, Jaivian, and the rest of the RBs as well as doing a great job coaching them up even with suboptimal OL play. I wish nothing but the best for Aristotle and his family but, as a fan, this one stings more than most. Thank you for your time here and good luck moving forward

Best of luck to Coach AT in the next chapter of his career.

Who are some of the candidates being considered? Would CJ Anderson be a good fit?

The new guy will be fine. He's got a solid background and has local ties as well as NFL experience. This is Harsin's call and the overhaul of the offensive staff is complete.

Thanks! Excited to hear that it will be someone with NFL experience. Hopefully it will benefit Ott and Thomas.

Reported on TOS that this was not AT's choice, that he didn't make a choice to leave for Northwestern.
