Still butthurt UFla got nixed…
Studies im running in tandem with UF conclude December and beating the gators in the swamp would've been a nice way for me to part ways.

I would still love for Cal to combine 2 road ACC games into 1 week to minimize travel. Have the Bears play VT on Saturday, spend the week out there, then play Louisville on Friday night. Gives a chance for more team bonding, coaches can do a little recruiting, schools can work together to offer dorms and practice facilities, players get to experience a different part of the country, and you cut down on travel time. I get these departments are flush with cash but I'm sure they could make it work

That was a home and home starting there in 2026 though.

Even though ACC presidents voted to admit CalFord, based on comments from I've read from some ACC coaches, this ethos of cooperation doesn't extend to the actual athletic staffs. It's not too hard to imagine the air conditioning mysteriously shutting down in the visiting dorms where Cal players stay and practice field-time curtailed by a conflict with the field hockey team.

Staying over could make sense... for Cal. Curious though, where to find the empty dorms for accommodating the Cal players and coaches? Where would the students already living in the dorms be expected to go?

Since when does or would a visiting team stay in dorms?

Leave the dorms to the students. Professionals stay at hotels.
