Was asked by the Powers That Be to create a post from what I've previously written on how to donate to Cal that could be pinned. So here goes.

If you want to make an online donation:

Here's a link to the Football Championship CALiber Fund (yeah, I don't love that name either, but no one asked me). If you just want to pay by using a credit card you can follow this link. Easy peezy.

If you want to make a donation using your DAF:

Best way is to start directly with your financial institution. So if your DAF is managed by Charles Schwab, log into your Schwab account, select "UC Berkeley Foundation" as the intended recipient and in the instructions list "Championship CALiber Fund". Same for Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, etc. If you are asked for the fund number, please use FU1017000.

If you want to go old school and send a check:

Make your check payable to the UC Berkeley Foundation, put "Championship CALiber" in the memo line and send it to:

Cal Athletics Fund
Attn: Adam Brooks
195 Haas Pavilion
Berkeley, CA 94720-4422

If you want to send securities directly to Cal (not through your DAF):

There is a form you fill out. It changes from time to time. To get the latest form or to ask questions reach out to:

510-642-6791 or givesecurities@berkeley.edu

If you want to donate personal property or real estate:

Reach out to Cal at 510-642-6791 or giftinkind@berkeley.edu. They can help guide you.

There's also a FAQ that can help answer common questions and here's an email you can use if you need it.

If you want to confirm your securities were received by Cal or your money is being applied as per your wishes, you can email our new head of Athletic Development, Adam Brooks, at atbrooks@berkeley.edu. Adam is great.
