This is a huge boost to the start of Tosh Lupoi’s tenure as head coach. Sagapolutele was one of the most productive freshman on the county and would have been coveted on the market. He’s committed to be a linchpin piece at Cal moving forward.

This right here. By keeping JKS, Tosh landed probably the best potential transfer player in college football. And now they both start recruiting others to join. The transfer portal window in January will be very, very interesting. It's amazing how all it took was dumping our tired old coach to breathe life into Cal football.

Cal doesn't have its own plane. I think most people who fly private rent it. College Gameday used to be sponsored by a private plane company.

The article at espn dot com says Coach Lup (loop) cancelled all events after the Presser and bought a commercial ticket. Flew to Hawaii to meet. Hopped an early flight back to the mainland.

I think heaviest artillery still applies to JKS and you didn't need to change it to best QB.

This is really key though bc it vastly speeds up the process of landing top portal weapons for JKS. If he was on the fence and we had to land a portal class to prove to him he should stay then there would be guys who went elsewhere due to that uncertainty.

Now we have excitement with a top QB, a quality coach, and coming off a (hopefully) 8-win season with our last impression being a prime viewing slot on Christmas Eve which will bring in good viewership
