Good college QB. Can even run some. But he is about the 7th best QB in the ACC, so Cal needs to be able control guys at this level, if Cal wants to win 8 or 9 games.

Hutchings dialed up the pressure and our DBs were ball hawks.
In fairness his gait was off like a limp or hitch when he jogged onto the field I could see. Reporters asked Fran Brown about that observation and Angeli's health multiple times in presser, specifically asking the backup to warm up which he denied as specific to his condition But he prolly still has effects from the Achilles.
I'm sure glad we decided to not make Fran Brown look like Coach of the Year this year.

Often the case with college QBs. It is part of what makes Sagapolutele so remarkable since he hasnt had a lot of protection in his Cal career so far. Amazing that the WR drops issue continues. Goff was blessed with WRs who not only made the routine catches, they made spectacular, impossible catches. Imagine Sagapolutele's stats if we had our 2015 WRs?

yes. kept the pressure on. a few hits and then the leveler at the end. he got gun shy and sore.
the dls and lbs didn't do anything spectacular on the pass rush, but enough that he had less time as the game wore on.

Angeli was limited, Cuse fans are not happy that Odom (2nd string QB) didn't have 1 or 2 series.
