That said, I can't really tell what he's trying to do.... what our offensive scheme or identity is supposed to be. I think what I'd do is take the wraps off of our passing game, run more of an Air Raid (calling it the "NFL Air Raid" to keep JKS happy). Then, using our lethal passing game to set up the run, I'd unleash Muhammed.

The offense is so bad. Blame the WR's, blame Jaron, blame whoever. However, the blame should be put on the OC. Just look at Harsin last year. It makes me miss him

Dude's 30 years old, never held an OC position, and is in way over his league. He's underproducing relative to his personnel. Harsin overproduced relative to his personnel.

We don't have the luxury of him to figure **** out.

There's so many inexcusable things. Not only the insufferable overarching playcalling over the past two games, but specific examples like the the gross mismanagement of the clock and plays in the last minute of the first half of the syracuse game. Taking a delay of game penalty from the 30 to 25 yard line (no the punter does not need more space). Etc.

Just no creativity from Summerville. Harsin utilized jet sweeps, end arounds, fake WR screens, roll outs, double passes. The list goes on. Just go turn on the tape from the Louisville game; it's impressive to say the least.

We have so much talent on offense to be explosive. We haven't even utilized Quaron Adams.

In baseball, a pitcher establishes his fastball and tunnels his offspeed pitches off that fastball. After a few innings, the hitter cannot tell if the pitch is the nasty curveball or the fastball. It keeps them guessing.

There's not guessing for Summerville's offense. He never builds off his plays. A quick improvement would be to have a more unpredictable offense. For instance, he likes to call a lot of boundary screen plays. Maybe call a couple and then have a fake screen where the blockers fake like they're about to block and release upfield. There are many other options.

Let's go Summerville. Time is finite and you cannot be doing the same stuff week in and week out. Rolo's ready to call the plays if you are not.

I thought the play calling by Jordan was much improved from last week, but the execution was just not quite there.

Not quite sure what it is but these guys are new... Let's give Jordan a chance guys.

Hutchings and our D basically saved the day, and while they still have a ways to improve, you can tell we got some major talent and potential there. If D keeps improving we're gonna have an amazing defense by the end of the year.

Let's hope for a big step jump in offense - just like our D - in the coming weeks and especially against Clemson.

The last 2:20 of the UCLA game was equally pathetic. Offense standing around pre-huddle with zero sense of urgency.

Just inexcusable at this level.

I liked what I've seen from our transfer receivers so far. People criticizing Strong and Hendricks got a really quick reminder of what REAL mediocre play is at the position with Kyion Grayes and Jordan King's near game breaking drops/lack of effort on dimes (love Jordan King but he's just not at that level). Strong and Hendricks had a few eyebrow raising drops but also people forget the really tough catches they've repeatedly made.

Chase Hendricks is no Malachi Toney but he's fast enough, shifty, has good hands, and is solid at running routes. Ian Strong is no Cam Coleman but he's our only guy who has broken deep and caught the ball there and contested which is what we got him for. I do think both and Adam Mo and JKS are being limited by this playcalling. Let them play freer, no point to prepare too heavily for the NFL if we can't GET them to the NFL.

With the talent I'm seeing there's no way Mohammed can't get better lanes or our two top receivers better separation
