Cuse (1-1) vs. Pitt (2-0)

Since we play Pitt later in the year... who do we want to win this game in a few days?

It's early but Pitt has more upside at this point

Pitt will be a different team by then. Just want a good, clean game.

I was listening to a Syracuse podcast before and after our game with Syracuse. They were super bummed out that they lost to Cal because their game against Pitt wasn't going to end well. I think they mentioned they've lost 25 straight games at Pittsburgh.

Not exactly, it's just been 25 years (2001) since their last win there, and Syracuse was actually very dominant against Pitt from 1984 to 2001 but after that Syracuse has beaten them only 4 times

That makes more sense. Still... 25 years?

Wow.

I'd say they were due. But, they were due a long time ago.

Makes our streak against SC look like small potatoes, only took 18 years to win again in the Coliseum after 2000

For me, I want Pitt to win. I want as many eyes on us as possible later in the season, and a good record for Pitt will assist in making that happen. I also want the Panthers to be relevant at the end of the season so the Bears will take them with maximum seriousness. There could be a letdown after Big Game. I don't want to see that happen.

And from a football standpoint, I like Pitt much better than "Cuse. "Cuse is an indoor team. Pitt plays the game the way it should be played, outdoors on natural grass. Give me the Panthers.
