Honestly no different. It has been a long time since a Cal team I rooted for showed growth game to game. Sure players are gonna make mistakes but from start of season to end it is play a great game against a good team and follow it up with a dud against a team you should beat or at least compete with. I just want to root for a team that gets better each week. Not just wins better but eye test better. Less penalties, more consistent offense, players knowing their assignments, clock management, serviceable depth, etc.

I will feel like a chump for not betting my Rollover IRA on the Bears with the +18.5 points.

*Remember, Cal is a trap game for most of the SEC and almost every college QB is capable of choking as bad as Derek Carr.

Wait, the process is real?

The peasant class was just too unsophisticated to see it.

If you've given up on the current regime, a win today would be a bump in the road. If you still have hope, a win today would be encouraging.

I am resigned (no pun intended) to Tosh being here through at least next year (unless the roof caves in). So, if we win today, it won't mean that much. I'll be happy, but not convinced. What would convince me that the team has turned a corner (not necessarily THE corner) is if we win out (which, after today, is quite possible).

I will feel good for the team.
Bring back bottled beer and cigars at CMS. Should get us back in the Rose Bowl!

I was seriously worried this post would come true. What would it mean? Did I pull a reverse jinx?

Wilcox 2.0, seems we had to endure this for 9 seasons.
Though I concede it was probably more bleak.

This is more holmoe than Wilcox. Inexplicable incompetence.
