Yeah, woke up an hour ago at 3:00 AM my time, Cal with the lead. Now halftime. I dont know whether to drink coffee since i might want to go back to sleep after the game.

Can someone explain how Cal can play competitive football for two quarters and then get thumped 42-0 over the next two quarters? I mean, it has to be coaching, right? We obviously have the talent to play with them, as evidenced by the first half lead. So how the hell does the second half happen?

Simple - Mustangs under performed in the first half and came back out on fire. Something the Bears can't do, but can be subjected to.

Bring back bottled beer and cigars at CMS. Should get us back in the Rose Bowl!

Cal was REALLY creative on offense in the first half. Pistol formation, lots of quick passing, jet screen shuttle pass, running tempo. Then in the second half got very conservative, JKS often under center, or bad snaps when in shotgun, running on first for no gain, even when we had to use DBs as RBs, even as we fell further behind, leading 3 and outs, then bad punts and another SMU score. Rafael, who always ran hard for us, showing what he could do with a good OL that wore us down in the second half.
