The "So what, now what?" doesn't work when you lose by 39 points.
It sounds defensive and dismissive.
It only works when you're winning and a reporter tries to praise you.
For example, if Chesney beats MSU today by 30 to go 7-0 and he starts the presser with a "So what, now what?" then it sounds cool.

Sorry, this ticks me off.
For example if I'm responsible for a bug that causes our North American servers to go down (and along with it every customer in the USA) and I start the Monday standup meeting with a "So what, now what?", I would be escorted outside of the premises with my belongings in a back within 2 hours.
