Some interesting stats in this article by Avinash Kunnath.
None are flattering.

Why do you write that? Does he mention pedo-hooker content?

I'm sure the 3000 word treatise covered it somewhere.

I figure he is 75% right. I think its funny that he mentions the hiring process. NFW would Lupoi prevail if he had to interview against other candidates. He was handed this job before Wilcox was fired. We got 2 more seasons of this debacle - buckle up.

Yesterday, someone remarked that the game against NC State was a "low" point.

That may have been a new low for the program as measured by the performance on the field and sidelines, but its quite possible that this train wreck continues before there is some sort of "stabilization".

That's the scary part.
And the article highlights that concern.

"Buckle Up" is right.

At least Lupoi gave us the correct slogan for his era.

this is so appropriate for cal fb and bb .. I kept thinking all these years that it would get better, but sad to say it has not ..

we need to yank the band aid and try again, but then again if RR is making the decision why bother??

football is demonstrably worse, but using recent metrics, basketball has improved. However, both are nowhere near a metric of "the best it's ever been".

As the season progresses, each game presents a new low point. The Virginia game will be the new low point.

And from what I have read about Virginia, they have tons of injuries and are totally banged-up.
They had 3 more players go down in their game against Wake Forest.
LB Danley, TE rogers, and Center Metcalf.

That's on top of WR Flores and Courtney, RB Middlebrook and Vaughn

Without Middlebrook, Virginia rushed for 16 yards on 19 carries against Wake.

Man, if we cant beat them then we are . . .

They also have a bye so this all may not matter much by next week

We've lost our last three games by a combined 94 points. We've scored a total of 7 points in the second half of those games. We are undoubtedly one of the worst football teams in the FBS, and we aren't exactly trending up. I'm not holding out much hope for the Virginia game (or any other game this season).
