I'm surprised he suspended Harris at all.

I believe Phil already paid all those fines. Harris is good to go on that front IIRC.

What a miserable post.

Chip held Harris out of the biggest season opener, and probably the biggest regular season non conference match-up in school history, with a shot at the national title on the line. You can't take that away. And further, in spite of reinstating Harris, he's still not running with the ones which makes your insinuation rather absurd. Also it was widely reported that the fines were paid off by Harris' family several weeks ago.

Beat writer Rob Moesley from the Eugene Register Guard has also commented on Twitter today that the conference and NCAA told Oregon they saw no need to self-report any violations in regard to the rental car.

Oh c'mon. Non sensical post. He handled the Harris situation more harshly than most coaches would.
