Wonderful cover story on Marvin Jones on this quarter's Cal Sports. Turns out he found out that his girlfriend (now wife) was pregnant at the beginning of his freshman year. Instead of bailing out, they married, and now he is a responsible husband and father, AND on target to graduate in 3 1/2 years (and hopefully play in the NFL). He credits Tedford in large measure for supporting him as well.

Yeah, but Tedford still doesn't allow open practices.

His son looks exactly like him. He really is a great person and loves his son a lot!

Met Marvin Jones (the first) our current WR's dad and told him how impressed with how his son carried himself. His dad as just as classy and was definitely proud of his son's accomplishments.

We're lucky to call Marvin a Bear.

Hate to burst your bubble, but it says in the article they are not married....

Still a good story and it ended on a note that makes it sound like only a matter of time, but she is expecting a second child and they are still not married.
