OK, this is probably not going to be very popular, but if you want to re-live, or analyze, or extract highlight clips from the Washington game, here it is. Link is to Chicagoaubear's tracker:

http://caltorrents.doesntexist.com:31862/

1280 x 720p, h.264, 5 Mbps, 29.97 fps, 5.8 GB

This time I only have one initial seed, so this one is going to go slow, so be patient.

Oh also, I prepared this file exactly in the same way as the previous games, but for some reason the audio progressively gets out of sync. It starts out fine but by the end of the game it's a couple of seconds out of sync.

I couldn't get it running. Adobe wouldn't support it and said I must save it as a PDF. Don't want to go through all the trouble. What can I do to just get it running?

Obtaining a large file from another individual on a home network is never going to be as hassle-free as clicking on a link on the web site of a large company like Microsoft. You have to learn how to download a torrent.

For a torrent client I recommend installing µTorrent. They also have a beginner's guide on their web site.

Basically, after you install the client, then your computer will recognize when you click on a torrent link, and then you just specify a download location and the file will download. Since there is only one seed right now (me), it will probably take 12 to 24 hours to download.

Thanks, as always. But as we were progressively more out of sync too, it probably suits the the mood of the game.

Thanks for posting this... am seeding the UW and Pres games... This is great for going back and trying to figure out what really happened.

For those of you on Macs, I recommend MPlayerX for playback... the arrow keys on your keyboard act as 10 sec advance/replay buttons... makes getting through a game really fast!

May I ask what kind of PVR setup you're using?

Actually I only get broadcast channels on my TV, so I convinced a friend to get a Ceton InfiniTV 4 and record the games for me. It's a cablecard tuner that plugs into a PC. So it gets all the channels that your cable box gets, and can record four channels at the same time. The video it records is full quality. It's possible for the provider to restrict any individual program with DRM, but so far it seems to be extremely rare. After I edit out the commercials, I transcode it to h.264 with Adobe Media Encoder.

Thanks... sounds like just the kind of hardware I would be looking for. Silicon Dust also makes an HDHomeRun Prime CableCard tri-tuner. Like you, right now I can only get broadcast channels on my computer tuner (EyeTV)... if Cal ever plays on network TV, I'll broadcast live to Veetle.

Some of the games I've torrented in the past were from my HDHomeRun. Great hardware, although the channel-mapping issue that these tuners have make them not so simple to set up. Because I was sold on SiliconDust, my friend was intent on getting the HDHomeRun Prime, but he got so fed up with the delays, he gave up and eventually got the Ceton. Those delays cost SiliconDust a ton of sales. Ceton had a huge head start and the reviews have been glowing. My friend has had two issues with the Ceton system: 1) the first cablecard he got would not "pair" with the tuner, so he got another one from Comcast and the second one worked. 2) He doesn't leave the computer on all the time, and when turning the computer on, Windows Media Center has lost all the settings for the Ceton a couple of times. So it hasn't been completely smooth. Computer tuners just aren't quite ready for prime time yet.
