So, in short (with thanks to Chris and Steve, wherever you are) I hate every blade of grass in that stadium. Surely I'm not the only one.

I hate SC because they're allergic to class.

At the '06 game I was walking into the Colliseum w/ my gf at the time, and this SC fan who had to be about 80 years old was walking behind us with his wife and little 5 year old kid. Suddenly the wrinkled condom goes "Berkeley huh?..". and I go "Yeah.." then he shouts "SUCKS!". I stop, turn around and I first look at the child who's expressionless.

For a split second I think about decking him then realize the fall would break his hip and I'd be in some deep ****. So I just reply, "yea, what sucks is that you paid twice as much for an inferior education.". The look on his face told me he had preferred that I drop kicked him into oncoming traffic instead of embarrassing him in front of his hag and grandkid.

The overall "rich asshole-ness" of the average $Cum population, as personified in every aspect of thier program, from their jackhole marching band, to the stupid effen horse, to the classess cheaer of a football progam, to their glorification of a double murderer, to the undeserving alumni who bought a crappy education and got handed positions they didn't earn and were too incompetent to manage - thanks for effing up the Southern California economy with your institutionalized "Peter Principle," Toejam arseholes!

Tedford should have invited Bethea back for this game to give the speech. The team needs it now more than ever, particularly as there are so many out of state players who don't really have the same perspective on SC.

3) When the U$C band takes the field at halftime, it is a lot like watching "Triumph of the Will". Maybe U$C's band director at one time was a fan of Leni Riefenstahl - heck, they have a big Film department, so it's not outside the realm of possibility. Nuremburg Rallies anyone?
