I've never seen so many decommits in a year. Especially during the last week of recruiting. This year's recruiting has been crazy. It hurts both the athletes and the schools. <br /><br />Schools are getting screwed over because players they thought were committed abandon them at the 11th hour. <br /><br />Players are getting screwed because schools like UCLA start cutting players like crazy at the last moment when they get higher rated players.<br /><br />College football needs 2 signing days. An early one--maybe in December--and a later one in Feb. Both schools and players would be more protected with an early signing date.
