OT: Pics from Cal Softball's trip to Hawaii. We have bikini.

Thinking of? Isn't it kind of late considering what a zoo England (and esp. London) is going to be? I'm sure flights out there are not going to be cheap either as well as all booked up lodging.

It'll probably be May, before the Olympics crowds start showing up. My wife is from England and we'll be staying with her parents, so free accommodations. Plus her father is retired from British Airways and can get discounted tickets for family members.
Anyone going in June is going to have a rough time with Olympics coming up plus the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Those who are still determined to make the trip then had better start swimming now.
echo, are the 20 million subscribers (both male and female) who purchased the SI swimsuit edition which included a cal bear also "creepy?"
cal sb is #2 in the nation and deserving of a new stadium...if this can get a few more fans that would be a good thing for their program

Judging by those pics these girls obviously know how to market themselves and their sport. Cute, athletic, wholesomeness.

I'm actually going to be in London from July 22-27 and then travel the country until Aug 2 visiting my wife's family, cousins, etc...
Really looking forward to it, but the hotel prices are double what they normally would be. Good thing we were able to book a hotel using points for the first five days, but nothing was available for the later part near central London.
Heard previous games/world cup has had low attendance, crazy amount of hotel rooms available in China and S.Africa for the World Cup, so we'll see. Evidently the tourist groups get crazy amounts of rooms at rack rate then cancel a week before the games, so we'll see.

My company is THE Olympic sponsor and all of our free tickets were sucked up months ago. However, it is good to know that no matter how the image emanates from London it is coming through our network and lots of good press!

Just curious, was this by yourself or did you go with a friend? And where did you end up traveling to? I'm sure there are a million places one can find in and around London.

Not to insult the lovely ladies, but while some seem fairly athletic others do not. I would imagine a group of Division-I athletes to have better physiques. If those really are our players then we could stand some conditioning.

this is amazing as they have played only 2 home games...asu has played 30 out of 33 at home
i fully expect jorge and other basketball & football players to be there for the pivotal series against washington this weekend...how about you?
if you couldn't get to the spring training party here in scottsdale this year (it is 80% today and short shorts and skimpy dresses are the norm), you should get your baseball fix this fri-sun in berkeley
