Also CJA dislocated his thumb today and is probably out for the rest of spring. Will know more on Monday. Same source

Reading espn during the spring it seems like so many guys across the country suffer serious injuries during the spring and they then have to miss the season. What a bummer!

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I had VERY high hopes for Brazinski back when he signed. He's now, what, a junior? He never has played (has he played even a single down?), and with him losing the 2012 season with this ACL tear, it looks like his Cal career is over. I feel bad for him, but I also feel bad for the football program. There's another scholarship that, to say the least, did not produce much benefit. (Brutal to say that, but isn't it the truth?)

I hope he is at least on track to graduate. He will need that Cal degree.

I think he's already been accepted to grad school. He can probably petition for a 6th year if it looks like he'd contribute after the ACL rehab.
