Sounds like he wants to still be a Bear. He wasn't going to play next year with our depth anyway so not a big deal to not have him next year. Hope he gets it all together and enrolls at Cal in a year.

he plans to enroll in January after going to east Mississippi jc for a semester and he really does still want to be a bear

Is this the same recruit Coach Howard brought with him when he left Washington State.
Coach Howard supposedly had some 'pull' at this recruit's high school or area.

My memory did fail me;

I got Coach Howard mixed up with Coach Ambrose.

Coach Ambrose seemed to have a positive connection with recruits in Georgia
