YES!!!
If I have comcast digital preferred, do I need to request the package?
:woohoo

No, IIRC it comes with Digital Starter even. From what I've heard, if you get ESPN, you'll get the Pac-12 network Norcal channel. I'm sure there's probably a package to get the other 6 channels too, but I haven't heard anything about that yet.

With the all the coverage and camera angles now the whole world will see how bad the Pac-12 officiating is. :headbang

Hard to get pumped up after COX and every other supplier dropped the package outside of the Pac-12 footprint.

Today's print version would be worth getting for the handy charts that summarize the coverage. But here's a link to the on-line article. Mercury News Article link
edit: I think this link gives the other information I was talking about chart info link

Other than Cox who else dropped it? Comcast, for instance, does offer it to customers outside the P12 footprint. Time Warner does the same from what I've heard (they are in hawaii right?). Cox was only cable company to make the decision not to offer it outside the footprint, which is stupid on their part to say the least.

Ok. I did that. I have Comcast in my area (SLC). This is what is says
Pac-12 Mountain: 37
Pac-12 Network: 410
Pac-12 Mountain HD: 757
What is the difference between the Pac -12 Network and the Pac-12 Mountain?

Oceanic T-W will carry the Pac-12 national channel in HD and SD plus the remaining six regional channels in SD. Lucky we live in Hawaii, as they say!
