As someone in another thread noted, Jeff Tedford was wearing a nylon windbreaker on Saturday. Now for the first 4 games that didn't raise any concerns. I don't know how the weather was for Nevada but, though warm for Southern Utah it wasn't THAT hot.

But wasn't it blistering last Saturday? I know that someone posted at 10 a.m. that it was already in the high 70s with the fog burned off. It must have been 90+ down on the field staring into the sun.

Why in the world would he be in a windbreaker???????

Seriously, there was another Cal coach in the windbreaker....surprise, it was the other big Cal coach, the D line coach whose name escapes me at the moment (yes, too lazy to look it up).

I'm guessing he was thinking that a white-colored windbreaker would reflect the Sun and Heat away from him as a giant sunblocker/umbrella of some kind?

Maybe Nike has some really high-tech, cutting-edge windbreakers and he's their guinea pig according to his contract?

Maybe he was hiding his physique for self-conscious reasons?

who really knows.

One possibility. There are other even more serious diseases though that would cause a general sense of fatigue and a feeling of being chilled. Tedford would be the right age cohort for it.

Because our current dline coach was wearing the windbreaker too. And it was hot out there. Both guys are trying to hide their weight. Simple explanations are always the best.

hahaha gotta love seinfeld!

Anyway as to the OP it is bizarre that he's not boiling hot but windbreakers do tend to be quite thin. Maybe he's trying to sweat off a few pounds?

While in the coaching cocoon he's also missed out on all the weight loss science of the last 20 years. Sweating off weight is sort of like 7 step drops for our offense... neither work in the long run.

I'm pretty sure I saw Biigelow trying to escape from behind the windbreaker.
