Like some of you, very impressed with Rodgers. Would like to see him faster but don't know if his injury has slowed him a little speed wise?

With LOI's in February, I think we should really comb the Community Colleges NOW as players can sign in December. Irks me to see Morgan Breslin from nearby Diablo Valley College starting for USC. We just need a really good OL or two and maybe a DL player. Also, a RB along the lines of an Arrington and a monster FB unless Desarte finally plays up to his clippings.

I like the Coach at Northwestern: fearless and creative (Fitzgerald), and the HC's at Nevada and Boise. Also, whoever is the defensive coach at Oregon State. As Elton John sang, "A change will do "us" good".

Our record will most like be sub 500 this year, but considering the brutal schedule, I am still positive about our team.

The guy is 270 pounds. TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY POUNDS. He's plenty fast for his size.

But he missed last week with a foot injury, so the question is, "Is he even faster than we have seen?"

Rodgers said that he isn't 100% yet in the post game press conference. I'm guessing that he might be a bit faster when his foot is fully recovered, but I think his versatility is what sets him apart. He moves well, runs WR routes, and displays great hands (he played WR in high school). Maynard and Tedford also highlighted his blocking in post game interviews after UCLA. He is listed at 6-4/265 and uses his size well (as evidenced by some tough catches in traffic against UCLA). He's not just an oversized WR that can't play at the line of scrimmage or an undersized lineman that can't run routes and catch.

I like the way Rodgers plays with tenacity, fights for the ball in coverage and bulls people over. I'm sure it inspires the team as well.

A healthy Rogers could have a huge impact on second half of season.

I think a healthy Rodgers (265) with Stevens (242) as an H-Back is now our best set and hopefully we will see that for most of the second half of the season.
