Does anyone know where the visitors section is at Autzen Stadium? Thinking about buying tickets through the ATO.

Thanks.

I don't, but I bought 4 myself. I have been to Autzen before and it is like Memorial with few bad seats.

When we went in 2007, the seats were in the upper corner of the end zone. View was fine, in fact the weird play ending the game where Colvin tried to stick his arm with the ball across the goal line and lost the ball was directly below us. That was when the Bears used to win road games...

Same, views are great.

The stadium feel pretty compact and loud as hell. I think with the proximity to campus and the lack of other things to do in Eugene the whole stadium felt like the student section.

Southwest corner end zone to be specific. The scoreboard is behind you over your left shoulder, and a section or two to your left is the incredibly dumb-looking Whoregon band. I'd say Sec 39-40 in this image:

Go, for sure. I was there in 2007 and a lot of other times when it wasn't as memorable. Watch Donald Duck ride a motorcyle .....

We were there too. What a great ending (we named our cat after Marcus Ezell) although we didn't realize the extent of Nate Longshore's injury. I agree with above posters about good sightlines, noisy Ducks etc. but they were very gracious in defeat. It seemed we only filled one section; lets do better this time.

Most were gracious or just stunned after the game. However, some yelled in my face and flipped me the bird. It wasn't like I was getting in their face, just quietly drinking my celebration beer in the tailgate area. Whatever. I actually sat in the Ducks section on that one and most people were cool, I was shocked that my hat remained on my head. I quietly made my ruling on the fumble, telling my Duck friends "Game over." That whole day was probably one of my favorite days as a Bear fan, the rise up the rankings later that night and all that...

In 2005, I also went and just bought tickets through their ATO I think, ended up in Section 1 under the scoreboard. All was good until the blackout and then some 12 year old flipped me the bird at the end. I'm popular with that, I guess.

It's a fun trip.

Blackout was 2003, not 2005.

I was at 2007 - definitely got harassed by Duck fans after the game. I believe it was like the lacrosse team or something. Definitely a privileged white kid team of some kind. They even threw stuff at us, which hit a little girl Duck fan in the head. That actually got Duck fans to yell at the lacrosse kids, and many thanked us for keeping our cool and apologized for the dbags.

I also went in 2009 and...well, that was ugly.

2009 was bad for me as well. I was surprised I made it out without getting cold cocked (I was in an Oregon section next to the students).

We went in 2007 and will never go back. It's not so much Autzen, as it is Eugene. Went straight to lobby lounge at our hotel, got ignored for over a 1/2 hour in mostly empty restaurant. Went across the street and server was great but she literally had to tell a booth full of hillbillys to stop threatening is. That worked inside, but they followed us out into the street. This was 5 or 6 guys and we were a group of 2 couples.

Family in front of me at Memorial in 2010 were fresh faces decked head to toe in brand new Cal gear...quietly cheering for the Ducks all night. That should tell you everything you need to know about what they've witnessed in Oregon.

To the contrary, I was there in 07 and had a great time and a terric post game dinner at the Steelhead Brewery. It is a great atmosphere for a game and the Duck fans were friendly before, during and after the game.

I went in 2005. Seats are ok. End zones views aren't my favorite but you definitely can hear how loud it gets - I think louder than Husky stadium.

Ugly game. Surprised Dixon was so awful. Ngati was a beast, had something like 10 tackles. I bet my Oregon buddy before the game that Marshawn runs for 225. Almost got it. Tough loss in the damp NW weather.

It was the end of those times.

How do the Home Oregon fans compare there to the ones who attend our road games (i.e. the Oregon Road Fans)?

Drunker. Less educated - a large 'townie' crowd. If you've ever been to Oregon, outside of Portland, you know what I mean.

It's amazing that they let them leave the stadium to go to the indoor facility/beer garden and them come back in the 3rd quarter. I mean - great for staying drunk - not so great for opposing fans.
