i went to support the cal bear players ... alot of players old and new enjoyed myself

hope those who do not get drafted get a chance to make a team

rodgers looked good and comfortable when philly scout worked him out ( i heard the guy say when we was leaving he was not done )
biggie push solid pick
kharii push solid pick

Kam looked very good will get a shot ( could see him drafted late round 6-7)
V looked decent ( has been working hard) quick feet

chris is looked the part ( looked good to be on his own since duck game )

another cal place kicker will get shot vince looked good

bigelow will prob get a shot

what did not like was the agent/assistants / runners looking like sharks watching seals, slimy but hey that is the bizness

loved the nfl player and ex players there lynch, best, Johnson and Ross

did anyone else go? observations

this is not a thread about them making mistakes by leaving early ok

if a player signs with an agent and leaves early based on what the agent said and does not get a job or spot .. how is the agent not liable ?

mc clure and cedic and evrin and hunter off top of my head have gotten bigger and well put together .... ( i remember meeting hunter at the spring game last yr ) damon and s/c coaches are doing something right

In sports...referring to players by their nicknames is commonplace. For most of us who follow Cal football, we know who biggie is...who V is. given who we know is declaring for the draft, i dont' fault the OP for referring to the players by their nicknames or first names...if you dont know who they are, there's a better way to ask than being a dick about it.

Jesus, McCain ran a 4.67? Wow. If that guy can get his head straight and bulk up a bit without losing most of his speed he will be a good pro. Too bad he didn't play much for us.

On another site, it was reported that after Bigelow strained his hamstring he still ran a 4.48 40yrd.

Kendrick Payne and MSG participated also, according to Calbears.com.

I think Payne tried out for Canadian Football last year and MSG didn't show up anywhere.

puzzling to me. he lost his bad weight, looks like his agility improved. yet he runs a mid 4.8 and does 16 reps on bench. can't just rely on his hands alone when he doesn't have great college stats to back him up with
